Paint matching is a controlled process, not a perfect-match promise
The vehicle paint code is a starting point. Final appearance can also be affected by paint variant, age, sun exposure, metallic or pearl orientation, previous refinishing and the condition of adjacent panels. Depending on the repair, a spray-out, tint adjustment or blend decision may be needed.
Gloss solid, metallic and pearl
Color and flop can change with application and viewing angle. We assess the repaired panel against surrounding paint rather than promising an exact match before refinishing.
Matte or special finishes
Gloss level and texture require separate consideration. Conventional polishing or blending methods may not be appropriate for every finish.
